The Highway 407 East mainline (approximately 22 km):

• Six-lane east-west freeway from Brock Road to the West Durham Link
• Four-lane east-west freeway from the West Durham Link to Harmony Road
• Interchanges at Lake Ridge Road, Baldwin Street (Hwy 7/12), Thickson Road, Simcoe Street and Harmony Road

West Durham Link (approximately 10 km):

• Four-lane north-south freeway connecting Highway 407 East and Highway 401
• Interchanges at Highway 407 East, Highway 7, Taunton Road and Dundas Street
• A 2.5 km realignment of Highway 401 and a new Highway 401 interchange at Lakeridge Road

Design Construction and Maintenance: 407 East Development Group

Construction Timing: 2012 to 2015

Construction Value: $1.6 billion ($1 billion in 2012 dollars)

Road Maintenance Contract: 30 years after completion
